A regional seminar on Mashkhur Zhusip's Legacy as the Basis of National Values and Spiritual Wealth was held in S. Toraighyrov PSU.

The seminar was held by the Mashkhur Studies Scientific and Practical Center of S. Toraighyrov PSU in cooperation with Innovative Center for Education Development in Pavlodar region.

The event was aimed at organizing a consultation for Mashkhur Studies teachers of the region and promoting heritage of the great son of the Kazakh people, our illustrious countryman, educator, orientalist, folklore collector Mashkhur Zhusip Kopeyev.

The seminar was attended by over 60 teachers of the Kazakh language and literature from all over the region. They listened to lectures delivered by PSU scientists, leading specialists in Mashkhur Studies of our region.

The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Zhaksybay Sarbalayev delivered an opening speech. He congratulated the Mashkhur Studies Center on the 10th anniversary of its establishment. He wished further success to its members and productive work to all seminar participants.

The following reports were made during the conference: Life and Works of Mashkhur Zhusip, Textual Peculiarities of His Works (Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Aytmukhamet Turyshev); Philosophical Aspect of M.Zh. Kopeyev's Works in the Context of Intellectual Nation Formation and the Mangylyk Yel National Idea (Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor Yengilika Zhumatayeva); Problems of Translating M.Zh. Kopeyev's Works into the Russian Language (leading specialist of the Center, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Mukatay Tezekbayev); Spiritual Legacy of Mashkhur Zhusip (Arslan Kopeyev); Cognitive Aspect in Kopeyev's Works (Master's degree student Kaldygul Abdullayeva). The final report was made by member of the Center Saragul Yskak.

After the plenary session, there was a presentation of M.Zh. Kopeyev's museum, which was opened in PSU in commemoration of the great poet on his 155th birthday.

During the second part of the seminar, school teachers shared their experience of teaching Mashkhur Studies.
