Nowadays, the system of higher and secondary education is aimed not only at improving the quality of professional training of future specialists - it also focuses on the problems of spiritual development of students and schoolchildren.

That's why members of Mashkhur Studies SPC hold literary meetings with readers of S. Toraighyrov Regional Library and students of College No. 2 of the city of Pavlodar. These meetings are devoted to creative biography of Mashkhur Zhusip Kopeyev.

It's a well-known fact that nowadays a great interest in the history, culture, and life of our great fellow-countrymen is shown not only by students in humanities, but also those who study technical sciences. A lecture held at College No. 2 of Pavlodar is a good example of this trend. M.T. Tezekbayev, a member of Mashkhur Studies SPC, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, delivered a lecture in Russian. He told about the place of Mashkhur Zhusip in the history of Kazakhstan and world literature, his ability to foresee the future, and specific features of his poetic language.

The event entitled 'M.Zh. Kopeyev, a Great Son of the Steppes' was held in S. Toraighyrov Regional Library on the same day. The administration of the Library invited A.Zh. Kopeyeva, the Acting Director of Mashkhur Studies SPC, and M.T. Tezekbayev, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor.

Members of the Library gave a brief report on the biography of M.Zh. Kopeyev. The guest speakers told interesting facts about the life and work of this great poet and thinker.

Over 70 books dedicated to M.Zh. Kopeyev, as well as a 20-volume collection of his works released on his 155th birthday were presented at the exhibition.
