The final stage of the Student Talents Show annual contest was held within the student self-governance program by the Committee on Youth Affairs and Student Union Organization of the University in the concert hall of PSU.

The contest was held in order to identify and support young talents, help young people realize their creative potential and create favorable conditions for the aesthetic education of students.

This year, 29 people took part in Student Talents Show. There were 14 contestants in the qualifying round of the contest. 7 of them made it to the final: Kyzgaldak Yegimbayeva, Rymgul Kaiyrzhan (B-101); Aydana Kapken (Agr-101); Rashid Alisher (MZh-201); Yerkebulan Seytzhanov (Mt-201); Olzhas Tashekenov (TT-202); Mukhametzhan Tleulin (Fin-202); Amirkhan Shukulov (NGD-202); Eldaniz Gaziyev, Eldar Zaripov (Jur-102), and the JAM modern dance group (AI-301(a), MZhB-301(k), LRiL-302).

JAM won the main prize (KZT 50,000), Rashid Alisher won the Audience Choice award (KZT 10,000), the Aru-Ay trio won the prize in the Internet Talent nomination (KZT 10,000). Cash prizes were allocated from the funds donated by sponsors.

All other finalists also received certificates, consolation prizes (KZT 10,000 each) and presents from sponsors. Amirkhan Shukulov won a special prize (KZT 15,000) from the main sponsor of the contest.
