Members of the teaching staff of the Department of Sociology and Political Science of S. Toraighyrov PSU in cooperation with the Nasikhat political and legal club held a roundtable discussion on the basics of destructive behavior.

The purpose of this event is informing students about destructive behavior.

The event was attended by students and teaching staff members from different faculties, as well as activists of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

The participants of the event discussed what destructive behavior is, whether it is possible to associate it with deviant behavior, and also examined the existing laws on participation in demonstrations, strikes, and discussed such questions as how soon you need to notify the State of such activities, in which cases such events are legitimate, and what methods exist to express one's position or requirements.

Students actively participated in the discussion, expressed their views and opinions about the meaning of the phrase “destructive behavior”, told about the laws relating to the conduct of meetings and demonstrations. The moderator of the roundtable discussion, the Head of the Department of Sociology and Political Science of PSU, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Ildar Kaliyev and teachers of the Department answered all the questions asked by the students, and shared their vision of these problems.

In general, the objectives of the event were successfully achieved: an active discussion of the problem was held, it was identified that PSU students have a negative attitude to destructive rallies and other similar activities.
