Undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Humanities and Education of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University studied at Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, United States under the academic mobility program.

S. Toraighyrov PSU helps its student expand the boundaries of their educational opportunities.

Fatikha Aubakirova, a second year student of the Department of Foreign Philology, improved her knowledge in the field of the English language and literature while studying at Murray State University. The absence of language barriers gave her the opportunity to learn the latest technology and improve theoretical knowledge in the chosen field.

Rysaldy Moldabayeva, a graduate student of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, had the opportunity to work with rare literary publications in the libraries of Murray State University and use the extensive electronic database of articles and research papers while working on her Master's thesis. Sharing her impressions of the trip, Rysaldy Moldabayeva emphasized that academic mobility helps remove borders between countries for students, as well as obtain universal educational and scientific experience.

During the period of study in the USA, PSU students exchanged experience of educational work with American students, learned the peculiarities of American education system, academic process and international scientific and educational programs offered by the University.

They were also actively involved in the activities carried out by International Student Organization at the University.

According to the Head of the Center of Academic Mobility Kundyz Mukatayeva, academic mobility ensures development of international cooperation between educational institutions, improves the quality of higher education and scientific research. “This is a great opportunity to prepare competitive specialists on the basis of international experience”, said Kundyz Mukatayeva.
