On January 27, 2014, members of the teaching staff of the Faculty of History and Law and the Faculty of Humanities and Education discussed the “Mangylyk Yel” idea from the Address by N.A. Nazarbayev “Kazakhstan’s Way-2050: the Common Goal, Common Interests and Common Future”.

The discussion was held in the form of a round-table meeting which took place in the Academic Council Hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

The meeting was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, Candidate of Political Sciences Amergaly Begimtayev.

In his opening speech, he noted that the “Mangylyk Yel” national idea was proclaimed in the Address by the President to the People of Kazakhstan “Kazakhstan’s Way-2050: the Common Goal, Common Interests and Common Future”.

Members of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University shared their opinions and expressed their positive assessment of the “Mangylyk Yel” idea. According to Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Studies, Candidate of Juridical Sciences Bulat Olzhabayev, “Mangylyk Yel” is the spiritual foundation of “Kazakhstan’s Way-2050”. It contains the main social values, fundamentals of unity, stability, harmony, peace and sustainable development of our country”.

The Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of S.Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor Yelena Burdina emphasized in her speech: “With the implementation of the main priorities of the Mangylyk Yel national idea, Kazakhstan will become one of the safest and most comfortable countries to live in”.
