Activists of the Committee on Youth Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University organized a flashmob dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the national currency introduction in the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 15, 2013.

The main purpose of this event is to emphasize the historical importance of the National Currency Day, help the students develop the sense of patriotism, introduce them to the national culture and values, and promote active social life.

On this day 20 years ago, the Republic of Kazakhstan officially introduced its national currency. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 13, 1997, the National Currency Day was announced a professional holiday for workers of the financial system of our country. The introduction of the national currency was a huge event for the development of economic and political life of independent Kazakhstan. It was a bold move that opened the possibility for independent monetary policy of our state.

S. Toraighyrov PSU students decided to emphasize the importance of this holiday with the help of a flashmob, in which the symbols of the national currency were shown.

During this event, activists of the Committee on Youth Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University demonstrated a lively dance and showed the symbols of the national currency.
