Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Nurlybek Ispulov attended the School for Young Scientists from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Countries organized by the National Personnel Training Foundation of the Russian Federation (Moscow).

This event was organized under the Generation Next program for inviting young members of the political, social, scientific and business structures from other countries for short-term study visits to the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the School of Young Scientists from the SCO Countries is development of integration processes in the fields of education, science and technology; giving a new impetus to the expansion of multilateral educational, scientific and cultural cooperation; strengthening mutual trust and good relations between Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

As a member of the Kazakhstani delegation, Nurlybek Ispulov attended the FabLab Digital Production Week and took part in the international conference entitled “Personalization of Digital Production” and several master-classes. The members of the delegation were also introduced to modern laboratories, educational and scientific activities of the National Research Technological University of Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.

Within the School for Young Scientists from the SCO Countries, its participants discussed the issues of interaction between research institutes and universities, establishment of international scientific and educational laboratories, problems of commercialization of scientific research, as well as their use in business.

At the end of the program, MIT certificates for participation in the FabLab 1.5 International Conference and completion of the course of studies at the School for Young Scientists from the SCO Countries were awarded.
