The students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University took part in the KAZENERGY International Youth Forum in Astana.

The KAZENERGY International Youth Forum organized by the Educational Programme and the Youth Committee is held annually within the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.

The KAZENERGY International Youth Forum is a unique opportunity for young people to meet the official representatives of government bodies, youth organizations from other countries, managers of large international energy companies. It is also a place for constructive negotiation and discussion of topical issues, obtaining interesting and useful information on promising youth projects.

This year, the Forum included an intellectual contest called Zerek, Youth Lounge-zone (room for YC WPC) and an exhibition organized by the Bolashak Center for International Programs JSC.

Zerek is a team game in which the participants are expected to find solutions to the proposed problems (mainly in the field of energy engineering) for a limited time period.

The PSU team was headed by Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering Gayni Seytenova and team captain Yacobs Sergeyevs. It consisted of the following students: Botagoz Musaipova, Ablaykhan Kabiden, Rizagul Ilchubayeva, and Kabidolla Fayzullin. Our team finished second after the team of KBTU (Almaty), having left behind the teams of K.I. Satpayev KazNTU (Almaty) and Ye.A. Buketov KarGU (Karaganda).
