A presentation of the book entitled “Agriculture of Kazakhstan in the Post-war Period: the Historiography of the Problem” was held at S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Authors of the book: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Dissertation Council for Historical Sciences at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Roza Kadysova and Master of History, senior lecturer of the Department of History at S. Toraighyrov PSU Aslan Azerbayev.

Roza Kadysova has over 100 scientific and educational works and 5 monographs, some of them were published abroad. At the moment, she is the Head of the Department of Culture of the Pavlodar region.

This book attempts to identify and define the trends and characteristics of the study of the history of agriculture in Kazakhstan in 1946 - 1985. Three historiographical trends were considered by the authors: the Soviet historiography, transition period historiography and post-Soviet historiography.

Vice-rector for Development Strategy, Education and Social Affairs of S. Toraighyrov PSU Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Arman Akishev noted the significance of this book not only for historians, but also for the younger generation of citizens of our Republic, especially in the context of the work carried out within the People in the Flow of History project initiated by the President.

Fellow historians and PSU scientists expressed their opinions concerning the significance of this monograph and wished continued success to its authors.
