Students of Toraighyrov University practiced evacuating from a fire at Campus No. 2. Employees of the Emergency Situations Department conducted the drills. The process also included the actions of the dormitory staff, so that they could learn to coordinately perform the necessary algorithm in critical situations - from calling firefighters by phone and turning on the alarm signal to controlling the emergency evacuation of residents.

As explained by the acting head of the city's emergency management department, Tlekzhan Gallyamov, similar exercises are held regularly in other educational institutions and high-rise residential buildings.

According to rescuers, such trainings allow for confident response to emergencies, guarantee safety and the ability to make the right decisions in the event of a fire and other emergency situations.

At the end of the exercises, employees of the Emergency Situations Department went through the rooms with a preventive fire safety briefing to consolidate the theory.
