Toraighyrov University hosted a cycle of seminars on the topic "Academic Excellence" for the faculty of the university, heads of structural divisions and faculties, which started  in June.

 

 The course of lectures was read by acting head of the Center for Academic Excellence Marina Skiba.  She spoke about the new roles of teachers, the transformation of universities, as well as trends in higher education.

 In addition, the speakers were representatives of the National Institute of National Property, Elsevier.  They considered the issues of patent policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the basics of intellectual property protection, international patenting, etc.

 In addition, they discussed aspects of the development of a personal brand, anti-crisis PR, state budget funding of science and international grants, foreign internships.

 - The main goal of the training is to help increase the human potential of the university to launch a center of academic excellence through the formation and development of supra-professional competencies of strategic management, project and process management, flexibility, change management, systemic, creative and analytical thinking, - noted the acting director of Research HUB Maryam Krykbaeva.
