Supportive supervision of social work specialists and training on the topic “Case management in social work” were held at Toraighyrov University.

The speaker of the meeting was the director of the branch of the National Alliance of Professional Social Workers in Almaty and Almaty region Zhanar Abdykalykova.  She talked about the stages of the rehabilitation process, the assessment of functional abilities and much more.

Let us recall that the goal of the project is to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in all spheres of life, the realization of their rights through networking and standardization of education, the development of state social security systems and the strengthening of state and non-state structures in the social sector of the countries of Central Asia.  The general level rehabilitation approach refers to rehabilitation services provided by community rehabilitation workers at the place of residence where access to rehabilitation services is difficult.

It should be noted that the National Alliance of Professional Social Workers also functions to improve the quality of education of social workers.  For this purpose, a branch of the alliance also operates at Toraighyrov University.
