Toraighyrov University hosted a meeting with employers to develop innovative educational programs in engineering, processing, natural sciences and agriculture.

 

Representatives of enterprises and organizations, academic services of the university, developers of educational programs discussed the prospects for the labor market in Kazakhstan, and Pavlodar region in particular, new requirements for university graduates from enterprises, the possibility of project and dual training, internships and further employment at enterprises.

Petr Bykov, member of the board of the university for academic issues, noted that Toraighyrov University is launching enrollment for new innovative programs in 2023. These are "Predictive Diagnostics of Technological Equipment", "Agroecology", "Biology and Kinesiology", "Energy Management", "Metallurgy and Recycling", as well as "Urban Studies and Development of Territories".

The dialogue was attended by representatives of large industrial enterprises, farms and government agencies. In ToU, cooperation with employers is carried out with the support of the European Union under the Erasmus + project, which is called "Triggering innovative approaches and entrepreneurial skills of students through the creating conditions for the graduate's  employability in Central Asia - TRIGGER".
