The Anti-Corruption Service of Pavlodar Region will use the potential of Toraighyrov University in identifying and eliminating corruption risks.

Interaction in the fight against corruption was discussed by representatives of the ToU and the regional anti-corruption department at the Antikor Ortalygy site.  According to the head of the compliance service of Toraighyrov University, Zhanna Matenova, the university is seriously concerned about the implementation of integrity standards and the improvement of the anti-corruption culture among students and employees of ToU.

- Our service has been functioning since March of this year and is always open to suggestions, recommendations and comments.  We have already launched our call center for feedback from the population.  All contacts of the compliance service can be found on the website of Toraighyrov University, - said Zhanna Matenova.

The head of the regional anti-corruption service, Yernar Bayangazin, during the meeting, voiced the idea of   creating an anti-corruption research center on the basis of the university.  Thus, corruption fighters will use the potential of the scientific community in identifying and eliminating corruption risks, as well as solving social problems of the residents of the region.

At the dialogue platform, representatives of ToU and the regional anti-corruption department signed a joint action plan for the next two years.  Its goal is to integrate the resources of educational institutions around the idea of   widespread rejection of corruption, to disseminate successful methods and additional mechanisms that will be consistently applied in all universities of the country.

At the end of the meeting, on behalf of the leadership of the anti-corruption service, they encouraged the students of Toraighyrov University, who successfully completed pre-diploma practice on the basis of the department.  Letters of thanks were presented to Natalya Chabanu, Nurlybek Kusain, Baurzhan Kairbek and Olzhas Kainidenov.
