Toraighyrov University for the tenth time has confirmed its position in the National ranking of the best multidisciplinary universities in the country according to the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA, https://iqaa-ranking.kz/item/13833).

This year, additional criteria were introduced to assess the level of organization of distance / blended learning in universities.  The number of massive open online courses, the share of educational programs with training in English, etc. were taken into account.

The ranking is multidimensional, it takes into account the reputation assessments of experts, employers and graduates, academic activities, etc.

Only 33 universities of the country are presented in the list of the National Ranking of the best universities in Kazakhstan, this is due to the fact that some universities scored less than 33% of the final grade, therefore they did not get into the ranking, the other part did not participate in the ranking due to a change in the form of ownership and a change of top managers. That is why, in the category of multidisciplinary universities, only 14 educational institutions are represented, for technical universities - 11, humanitarian and economic - 6, pedagogical - 2.
