Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Sultanov and Artur Platonov visited S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
During the conversation with students and faculty staff, mazhilismen discussed in detail the appeal of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev to the people “Five social initiatives of the President”, which, according to the deputies, will allow qualitatively develop many sectors of the national economy and is aimed at a concrete result.
During the meeting, the issues on improving the accessibility and quality of higher education, the possibilities of house-buying within the framework of the “7-20-20” program, as well as reducing the tax burden for low-paid employees and the execution timeframe of these programs were considered.
As Arhur Platonov, a member of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, our history and the role of Kazakhstan in the modern world gives the moral right to promote its development model - a model of creation, harmony and salvation. In some aspects, we are not just learning, but we can learn and be an example. Our history gives us this moral right. An absolutely correct long-term development strategy was built in the country, based on peace and harmony and allowed to lay a solid foundation.
“We are now among the few countries in the world that, in the most difficult conditions of the global financial crisis, can move forward and not reduce the production program. We can create exceptional conditions in the rental housing program, and the new “7-20-25” program will allow more people to get it. The principle of social justice is no less important than economic opportunities. The logic of tax cuts is a tendency towards social justice, toward the differentiation of tax assessment between wealthy people and those who do not have such opportunities. All the key aspects that people are interested in are thought out, economically justified, and conditions for the implementation of these projects are created. Our economic and spiritual development is an example of moving forward, despite all conditions”, A. Platonov said.
In addition, the people’s representatives visited the Students' House and got acquainted with the start-up projects of PSU students.
