S.Toraighyrov PSU lecturers are among the winners of the Republican contest "Best teacher of university-2016".

At S.Toraighyrov PSU the winners of  the contest "Best teacher of university-2016" and owners of the fellowship became Daniyar Mergaliyev, Ph.D. in History of Arts, Head of the Department of  Performing Art, Aitmukhamet Trushev, Doctor of Philology, Professor of Kazakh Philology department, Kairatolla Abishev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associated professor of the department of Transport equipment and Logistics, Laura Zhussupova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, associated professor of the Department of the History of Kazakhstan.

In total, there are 200 teachers from 58 high schools of the country became the winners of the contest "Best teacher of university-2016". 444 applicants from 84 high schools of the Republic took part in the competition.

Grant gives the opportunity to undertake an internship at leading universities of the world aimed at the conducting research work and advanced training.

This year the activity of teachers was evaluated taking into account study manuals, participation and publishing the texbooks,monographs, teaching aids in English, existence of the certificate of successful completion on the platform of the mass open online courses in foreign language on the  professional activities.

Awards make us raise the bar of out activity. It is a good motivation to achieve the best marks",- said K. Abishev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associated professor of the department of Transport equipment and Logistics.
