For the first time JSC "Eurasian Energy Corporation", which is part of the Eurasian Group (ERG), organized a press tour for students-journalists of the leading Pavlodar universities - among them were future journalists of PSU.

The event organizers have dated for the 20th anniversary of the founding of JSC "Eurasian Energy Corporation."

Press tour held in two branches of the company - at Aksu power station and surface coal mine "Vostochnyi” in Ekibastuz. 

On the first day of the event, students were able to get acquainted in detail with the energy branch of the EEC, producing about 17% of the electricity of the country. Tour of the company for the guests was held by Deputy Chief Engineer for Operation Negmat Zhenayev. They the museum, compared the external functional of old and new functional central control panels, unit control boards, had a talk with operational staff. Students also visited the territory of the reconstructed energy unit №5 and saw overhaul of the energy unit №8, which is like the seventh block has not yet passed  the reconstruction.

On the surface coal mine " Vostochnyi ", last year celebrated its 30th anniversary from the put into operation, the tour started in the museum of the branch, continued on the observation site, in operator management office. By the way, today the miners of " Vostochnyi " produce 20% of the coal of the republic - 20 million tons per year.

After the tour, students interviewed EEC employees, on a pre-selected topics. Someone was interested in the opinion of an ordinary employee of ECE on the company achievements for 20 years, someone became interested in IT-technology, the HR-policy and state language learning, the EEC role in the social life of Aksu and Ekibastuz. Student of S.Toraighyrov PSU Valeriya Dzhembetova, for example, talked to Batyrbek Abenov, a chairman of the Youth Board of the power station, who spoke about the youth policy of the company and events of Board.

- Eurasian Energy Corporation for many years is a partner of PSU in the field of training heat power engineers within the dual training system. At university journalists study the theory of PR, but the practical skills to, in fact, they can get, so appeared the idea to show the students an industrial enterprise, to share experience in this field, - informed Elena Garkava, press-secretary of the JSC "EEC".
