Active members of the Student Self-Governance Organization of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University put forward an initiative to support the upcoming presidential election.

Darkhan Zhaylaubay, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, spoke on behalf of the student community. “As a leading youth association of the University, we consider it important to express our position on holding early presidential election. Students of Pavlodar State University strongly support the idea to hold the election in 2015, as we think it is a justified and reasoned step enabling us to face the upcoming economic difficulties well-prepared. Under current conditions, the unity and peace in our society have led to the sustainable development of our country. It is extremely important to maintain the political stability. This is one of the most important conditions for boosting the national economy and improving people's living standards,” he said.

Akbota Sarybay, the Chairperson of the Committee on Youth Affairs, noted that students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University always support initiatives promoting progress and sustainable development of Kazakhstan.

The Chairperson of the Social Volunteering Center of S. Toraighyrov PSU told about the volunteering movement. She emphasized that the role of volunteers is increasing every year, as such movements stimulate civil activity of the population, thus attracting public attention to different problems of the society.

The conference was also attended by Beksultan Kabyshev, the Chairman of the Nasikhat Political and Legal Club, and Zhanyl Sattarova, an active member of the PSU branch of Zhas Otan, who told about the problems of implementing the new youth policy.
