The scientific community of Pavlodar celebrated the jubilee of a famous scientist and talented educator Yelena Burdina.

Yelena Burdina is the Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor, full member of the Academy of Pedagogic Sciences of Kazakhstan and International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogic Education. Owing to her outstanding achievements in the field of science and education, Yelena Burdina has earned great respect and recognition from her colleagues all over the Republic. She was awarded the III Y. Altynsarin AS RK Prize, Y. Altynsarin badge, S. Toraighyrov gold medal and honorary diploma from the Akim of the region for her best research projects and works in pedagogy.

The results of Yelena Burdina's work were published in national and international scientific journals. More than 200 scientific works, including 12 study guides, 2 electronic textbooks, a monograph, Russian-Kazakh thesaurus in ethnopshychology and ethnopedagogy, many brochures and articles of great theoretical and practical importance widely used in the educational process by various institutions represent Ye. Burdina’s contribution to pedagogy as a science and the process of education of future specialists in our region and other areas of the country.

She has patents and author's certificates for the tutorials in the History of Pedagogy, Psychology of Higher Education, Psychological and Pedagogic Approaches to Teaching Special Courses in Higher Music Education, etc.
