Toraighyrov University participated in the official opening of the integrated gas chemical complex of "Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc.", LLP.

An introductory tour was held to the high-tech enterprise, and Toraighyrov University strengthened ties in the form of agreements in the field of training and research activities.
 - Our university is interested in cooperation with major representatives of the real sector of the economy, using the most modern technologies in their production.  This is important both in terms of training personnel and in terms of research activities, - said the rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov.
It should be noted that "Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc.", LLP  is the first enterprise for the processing of raw materials from the Tengiz field with a capacity of 500 thousand tons of polypropylene per year.  This is more than 600 working positions, 64 types of products, contribution to the country's GDP up to 1%.  Similar complexes have been built in 5 countries of the world (Saudi Arabia, USA, Belgium, South Korea and China).
