In May 2022, the Toraigyrov University team took part in a training session within Erasmus+ project “Promoting innovative approaches and entrepreneurial skills of students through creating conditions for the employment of graduates in Central Asia – TRIGGER”. Toraigyrov University is a member of the project consortium, which includes 11 universities in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan) and 4 universities of the European Union member countries (Slovakia, France, Austria, Greece).

Based on the results of the trip, on September 15-16, 2022, an intensive training was organized for faculty and staff of Toraigyrov University, involved in such areas as career and employment of graduates, ensuring sustainable ties with enterprises in the region, and developing entrepreneurial skills.
The purpose of the training was to familiarize the staff with the EU initiative “Entrepreneurial Competence Framework, also known as EntreComp”, which offers a tool to increase the entrepreneurial potential of citizens and organizations. EntreComp was developed by the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. Training of staff was focused on the development of employment skills within the framework of organized social activities, the improvement of interpersonal communication skills of students, familiarization with the mentoring program and the graduate support system, the provision of employment services, and internship models. It was aimed at strengthening the potential of ToU in the field of employment of graduates, strengthening the university's ties with enterprises region, as well as the formation of entrepreneurial thinking among students.
During the training, the participants had the opportunity to learn in an interactive way the European experience in the field of supporting graduates, promoting their career growth and employment, and increasing their competitiveness in the labor market.
