A creative meeting with the members of jury of the International Film Festival of short fiction films and documentaries “Ertis CINEMA” filmmaker Yermek Tursunov and actors Farkhat Abdraimov and Askhat Kuchincherekov took place at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

During the meeting, the chairman of the festival jury, the head of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan Yermek Tursunov presented the sensational book “Melochi zhizni” (“Little things in life”), the “Book of the Year” award-winning according to L'Officiel Awards 2017 and shared the history of its creation.

“Little things in life” is life stories. We met with friends, and I told my stories at which they laughed. My friend asked why I did not write them down. Then I started writing for corporate purposes only, and after a while we published them.

I do not write because, for example, of money - it does not bring much money. I just want to share it. When you share the joy, it becomes more. But in this book there are sad things between this humor. I'm just engaged in self-irony, and it seems to me that at the moment such a position is salutary. This life can not be understood too seriously. I'm not going to teach anyone. If the book is being read, it means that it is in harmony with someone, the reader has found something in it”, Yermek Tursunov says.

Farkhat Abdraimov shared his impressions of the visit to Pavlodar and Pavlodar State University, noting that he is visiting our city not for the first time.

“Pavlodar is compact, clean and beautiful city with friendly and hospitable people. I liked your university - very beautiful and bright. Most of all the sculpture dedicated to the “Dos Mukasan” band - our Kazakhstan Beatles is memorized. This is our youth, and we know all their songs by heart”, F. Abdraimov said.
