S. Toraighyrov PSU congratulated the better half of the University on one of the brightest spring holidays - International Women's Day.

Based on the decision made by the Accreditation Board of Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) dated February 21, 2014, S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University received certificates of specialized accreditation for 15 educational programs offered by the University.

Saltanat Kenbeilova, a senior lecturer of the Department of Metallurgy of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Machine Building and Transport of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, has become a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Petrochemistry.

All people around the world have their customs and traditions. They reflect the lifestyle of the people, their habits and national characteristics. Moral norms, traditions and customs of the people are inseparable from Islam which has such basic principles as equality of all people, purity, sobriety, chastity, mercy to the weak, etc.

Nurgul Smaylova, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor of the Department of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering, received a diploma and badge of a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, as well as the title of an Honored Worker of Science and Education.

A literary and musical event dedicated to the 200th birthday of Taras Shevchenko was held in S. Beysembayev Scientific Library of S. Toraighyrov PSU. UNESCO included the 200th birthday of this famous Ukrainian poet in the list of commemorative dates.

Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Gabit Khafiz and Danat Bekzhasarov took part in the “Mangylyk Yel: Bright Future of the Youth” national forum which took place in Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University (Almaty).

Students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University showed a good result at the VI National Competition among University Students in Machine Building, which was held in Karaganda State Technical University (Karaganda).

A recitation competition was held by the scientific and practical center of Mashkhur-studies of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University at secondary school number 3 named after K. Ospanov in Kachiry area of Pavlodar region.

Prospective students from 13 colleges had a trial testing held by the Foundation Faculty of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
