S.Toraighyrov PSU took part in the seminar "The challenges of energy and rural development in the context of climate change in Kazakhstan" (Almaty), organized by the University of Sheffield (UK), in partnership with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the support of the British Council. The seminar was held within the framework of the programme Newton-Al Farabi Researcher Links.

On August 6, 2016 the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Sagadiyev with a working visit came to S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar state university.

Aizat Kozhabayeva, a student of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar state university brilliantly presented Kazakhstan at the XXV International interuniversity competition of beauty, grace and artistic skill in Ufa (the Republic of Bashkortostan).
