At S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar state university started a week of foreign languages, organized by the Department of Foreign Languages.

A number of events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

At S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar state university was held a literary evening dedicated to the 215th anniversary of Vladimir Ivanovich Dahl, an ethnographer, collector of folklore and proverbs, a military doctor, but most of all known as the maker of the most volume "Explanatory Dictionary of the Live Great Russian Language ".

At S.Toraighyrov PSU were held seminars on methodology and methods of research for Master’s degree and doctoral students.

On the day before in Mangistau completed the first readings named after Abish Kakilbayev, which gathered masters of eloquence from all Kazakhstan. This time the winner was Bakіzhan Kakіm, a student of S.Toraighyrov PSU. In two stages Bakіzhan run away from competitors with great skill reading "Argymak" and "Shanyrau".

Prior to the celebration of the Day of the First President, students met with the representatives of the Center for Analysis and development of inter-confessional relations.
