On the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory and the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the second year in a row the fighters of the search group Panfilovsylar of S. Toraighyrov PSU will go to Moscow to search for and reburial of warriors-Kazakhstani people of the Great Patriotic War.

Within the framework of the execution of instructions of the Head of the State issued at the 7th Congress of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct legal education among the population, the chairman of the judicial division for criminal cases of the regional court E. Zhangazin, the judges of the regional court P.Afanasiadi, B.Tishtybayev hold a lecture for students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Public Administration, Business and Law of S.Toraighyrov PSU.

The meeting of the supervisory board with the participation of Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bibigul Asylova took place at S. Toraighyrov PSU.

S. Toraigyrov PSU visited the teacher of the secondary school of the Elroy city, Wisconsin, the master of agricultural sciences Beth Kolodzinski.

On April 13, 2017, a prominent Kazakhstani scientist, Honorary education worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Shamil Torpishchev, would celebrate his 60th anniversary.

Once again, PSU students became winners of the republican Olympiads.

On the day before a seminar for scientists, publishing scientific articles in journals with impact factor, was held at PSU.

Within the framework of the round table on the topic: "Features of mass political repressions in Kazakhstan: origins, course and consequences" a textbook on the History of Kazakhstan was presented at S. Toraigyrov PSU.

A literary evening "Zhurek zhyrlaidy" dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the famous Kazakh poet and writer Dikhan Abilev was held in the Kazakh literature sector of PSU.
