Students of Pavlodar State University once again became winners of republican subject Olympiads in several specialties.

The Olympiad was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where the the Department of Geography and Tourism of PSU were presented by students Marzhan Bolken, Zatel Khymbatay and Madina Ushakbaeva. Their team, led by associate professor Shnar Kairova, took the II place. Also, II place in the individual event was won by Zatel Khymbatai.

Alibek Kabylda, Zhamilya Suleimenova, Aidana Zada, Bayanbek Zhasulan, Alfiya Aktay and Saltanat Taizhanova in the specialty “Cultural studies” became silver winners under the supervision of associate professor Anar Uyzbaeva.

The future philologists Umіt Amrinova, Asem Altynbek and Akhmet Akhmadi students of the professors Nartai Zhusupov returned from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University with the II place in the team event.

Students of the Department of Foreign Languages showed good results: Timur Iskender - II place in German, Sadyk Zhalgaskhan - II place in French, in intellectual competitions on foreign languages knowledge, which were held at  L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University

Also the students of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology returned with the set of awards from the Republican Olympiad, taking part in three directions at once. 

So, the students of PSU under the guidance of the teacher Asia Kasanova in the specialty “Chemistry” took II team place and Al-Farabi Kopzhasar won II place in the individual event.

Zh. Suindikova won the bronze in the individual event in the direction “Chemical technology of organic substances” (advisor is doctor PhD, Gulzat Aitkaliyeva).

Competitions in the specialty “Chemical technology of inorganic substances”, were held M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University where the team of the Pavlodar State University headed by Sophia Masakbayeva, Candidate of chemical sciences, became the winner of the III team place. A. Kopytova, V. Postolova and I. Zhumabay won the competition in the individual event.
