A meeting with the theologian of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan N. E. Kairbekov was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The event was organized by the Department for Educational Work and Social Issues in conjunction with the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan to increase religious literacy and prevent extremism and terrorism among young people.

As N. Kairbekov explained, religious literacy is the basis of a stable society and the unity of the people, the main condition for the formation of religious immunity, able to resist religious radicalism.

In addition, he emphasized the importance and necessity of such meetings, and also noted that young people should learn to distinguish between extremist movement and traditional religious teachings.

According to the organizers, the course of lectures on upgrading of religious literacy among young people will become traditional and will be held weekly.
