The presentation of the book “Abay zhumbaktygy – filosofiyalyk masele” (The mysteriousness of Abay as a philosophical issue) was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The commemoration meeting of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Shakanay Amirzhanovich Abdraimov was held at PSU, where the book “The mysteriousness of Abay as a philosophical issue” revealing philosophical concepts in the works of Abay Kunanbayev and Mukhtar Auezov was presented.

The author of the three-volume edition Shakanay Abdraimov worked as the Professor of the University for 25 years.

The rector of S. Toraighyrov PSU Aryn Orsariyev, presenting the literary work of Sh. Abdraimov, turned attention to the great role assigned to a book by Abay in a person’s life, personality development and becoming a man of education. Also Aryn Orsariyev cited the recent message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev to the youth of the republic “You should read books, be interested in scientific research, new ideas and discoveries. I strongly believe the statement “whoever reading books will govern those, who prefer a TV or the Internet” is true”.

Greeting the audience, the deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Kuzekov noted that “many people know Abay as a poet, translator and progenitor of the Kazakh classic literature, but very few know him as a great philosopher, who had a thorny life journey, endured personal dramas and suffered every written word with all his soul. All this is presented in the book of Sh. A. Abdraimov”.

Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Dauren Akhmetbayev, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the member of the International Social Academy of Ecological Safety and Nature Management, the chief editor of the book Daurenbek Aubakir, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay Dauren Kussainov, a writer, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, the member of the Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences Myrzageldy Kemel and the author’s children Raykhan Abdraimova and Toleu Tuyakov took part in the solemn event.

The guests of the meeting were unanimous in thinking that the literary work of Shakanay Abdraimov would considerably broaden the scientific philosophy on the whole and would enrich the treasury of Abay and M. Auezov scholars.
