Master's degree students from Serbia and Czech Republic came to Pavlodar to have a traineeship at the Department of Architecture and Design of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University is actively expanding cooperation with other educational institutions. An agreement on traineeship exchange between PSU and Kazakhstan's IAESTE National Committee was signed in early June.

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is a non-governmental organization helping students of higher technical education institutions in obtaining opportunities to improve their professional knowledge through traineeships at leading companies and organizations located both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Bojana Djordjevic (University of Belgrade) and Vojtech Koralka (Czech Technical University) are having a traineeship at the Department of Architecture and Design of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University from July 13 to 31.

“Nowadays, the demand for qualified personnel is especially high in rapidly developing countries. Young people are looking for opportunities to get high-quality education and PSU is interested in inviting international students, as we are always ready to give full support to all entrants,” says Akmaral Kairbayeva, Director of the International Cooperation Department of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Akmaral Kairbayeva also added that the purpose of these traineeships is not earning money. The main objective is to improve knowledge, gain practical skills and learn a new language. “Trainees have the opportunity to learn a lot about the culture of the country that they visit. So not only do such traineeships help students become better as professionals, they also promote intercultural communication,” she said.
