Pavlodar State University won the Shapaghat National Competition in the Field of Inventive Activities in the Most Active Inventor nomination.

The event is organized by the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the National Institute of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The main goals and objectives of the competition are increasing the role of intellectual property in the Republic of Kazakhstan, popularizing inventive activity, attracting investments to the inventive and innovative sectors, and implementing promising developments in the manufacturing sector.

Pavlodar State University received the largest number innovative patents and patents for inventions that meet the criteria of high technical level of competitiveness in the field of engineering and transport, as well as have an economic effect when used in the field of energy. “Method of Re-equipment of the Fuel System with Hydromechanical Nozzles”, “Method for Measuring AC Current in a Conductor Using Reeds”, “Method for Protection of Motors against Short Circuits” and other innovative inventions of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University that have scientific, technical and social significance.

Rector of S. Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Serik Omirbayev particularly emphasized that positive evaluation of inventors' creative work through recognition of their merits and contribution to the development of technical progress is an incentive for S. Toraighyrov PSU academic staff members to continue their inventive and research activities.
