The meeting of Orynbay Zhanaydarov with students took place at S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University. Orynbay Zhanaydarov is the chief editor of the Niva magazine, poet, writer, playwright, translator and well-known researcher of the Ancient Turkic mythology.

Orynbay Zhanaydarov is the author of 25 books of poetry and prose, winner of the Alash international award for the book of translations of the Kazakh poetry of the8-19th centuries entitled Steppe Lakes, award for the best play about Abay. Owing to his inspired works, the Russian-speaking readers are familiar with the poetry of Magzhan Zhumabayev, Mukagali Makatayev, Imanzhusup Kutpanuly. One of his latest works is the translation of the literary and historical study by Tursyn Zhurtbayev entitled Akinak, in which the author reconstructs the history of nomads starting from ancient times.

During his visit, O. Zhanaydarov met with the staff of the Scientific and Practical Center of a Complex Study of Personality of Pavlodar State University, visited the scientific library named after S. Beysembayev. The University administration also plans to organize a meeting with this famous word painter for the students.
