As part of the "Bir Tolkynda" ("On the Same Wave") project, Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurzhan Ashimbetov and Zharkynbek Amantaiuly, paid a special visit to Toraighyrov University to hold an open meeting with the active youth of the Pavlodar Region. Asylbek Tuganbaiuly, Chairman of the Pavlodar Regional Branch of the "Amanat" Party, and Yerzhan Khamitov, Deputy Chairman of the "Zhastar Rukhy" youth wing also attended the event.

 

 

The guests were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, Nurlan Medetov, who introduced them to the institution's achievements in education, research, and the IT sector. Additionally, insights into the work of youth organizations and student-led initiatives were presented.

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the university's engagement with society, projects aimed at supporting youth, and AI and digitalization initiatives announced by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Notably, students are currently mastering modern technologies under the "Ai-Sana" program.

In turn, the Mazhilis deputies exchanged views with the youth, sharing their thoughts on the role of the younger generation in the country's future, the importance of quality education, professional development, and honest service to society.

 

 

The meeting was held in an open format, allowing young participants to ask pressing questions and engage in a transparent dialogue. Furthermore, newly admitted youth members were officially presented with their party membership cards.

 

 

The event continued with a motivational session in the TEDx format. The lineup of speakers included Regional Maslikhat Deputy Aidar Kurumbayev, Director of the Youth Initiatives Development Center Rizat Rakhimzhanov, Vice-President of the Taekwondo GTF Federation for the Pavlodar Region Artem Grablev, and Deputy Chairman of the "Zhastar Rukhy" youth wing Yerzhan Khamitov.

 

 

At the end of the evening, vice-deans who have been actively working in the field of youth policy were honored with Letters of Appreciation (Algys Khat).
