Representatives from Huawei visited Toraighyrov University to introduce a competition for students.

The Huawei ICT Competition is open to students of the Huawei ICT Academy from around the world, as well as those currently studying at higher educational institutions who are interested in participating. Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform for competition and idea exchange, enhancing their knowledge and practical skills in the field of ICT, while also boosting their innovation capabilities using new technologies and platforms.

The Chinese Association of Higher Education (CAHE) has officially announced the Huawei ICT Competition as a nationwide event for college and university students. Currently in its 8th edition, the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 has attracted over 170,000 students from more than 2,000 colleges and universities in 80 countries and regions. In Kazakhstan, more than 2,000 students registered for the national stage of the ICT Competition, with 2 teams earning the opportunity to represent the country at the Regional (ME&CA) finals of the ICT Competition 2023-2024, where they won the "Grand Prize" in the field of computing and the "First Prize" in cloud technologies.
