Toraighyrov University  scientists presented their scientific developments designed to predict and prevent emergency situations.
- Scientists not only contribute to progress, but also stand guard over the safety of humanity. There are projects implemented within the framework of the "Strong University - Strong Region" program. I hope that the ideas and developments of Toraighyrov University scientists will find their application in Pavlodar Region. This is, in fact, what we are working for, - noted Yerkin Sadykov, the rector of university

Scientists presented about 20 projects aimed at preventing flooding of populated areas with melt water, developing an automatic hydrological monitoring system, creating a geoinformation system for responding to fires and floods using artificial intelligence, a joint project with the DTM of Pavlodar region, and designing an environmental monitoring system using autonomous driving (smoke condition, fires).

These projects will be able to facilitate the work of local executive bodies, emergency services, and law enforcement agencies. After all,  Pavlodar region, rich in forests and agricultural lands, faces the risk of fires every year.

Among the participants in the event were representatives of the departments for mobilization training and civil defense, agriculture, the department of emergency situations, the department of information and public development, veterinary medicine, and the branch of the RSE "Kazhydromet" in  Pavlodar region.
