Professor Miroslav Kafka from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague visited Toraighyrov University for a working visit.

During his stay, he will deliver a series of lectures for faculty and students. Kafka's lectures will focus on the protection and rational use of water resources, risk management in environmental protection, and monitoring of climatic and hydrological indicators under climate change.

In addition, the visiting scholar is working with ToU master's and doctoral students to prepare scientific articles for publication. He is also a co-supervisor of a master's and doctoral dissertation.

It is worth noting that Kafka visited ToU in 2022 as part of a program to attract foreign scholars. He delivered lectures for students during that visit. In the past year of cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, ToU has signed two agreements on cooperation in the field of science and education, one of which is Erasmus+.
