A scientific conference “Modernization of rural schools: accessibility and quality of education” was held at Toraighyrov University in memory of the teacher and educational organizer Baki Mubarakov.
The rector of the university, Yerkin Sadykov, greeted the meeting participants.
- There should be no difference between urban and rural schools. The secondary education system of Kazakhstan should first strive for this indicator. One of the founders of such a movement in the Pavlodar region is Baki Mubarakov, who for many years headed the Karatay secondary school in the Uspenka district. Thanks to his pedagogical talent and organizational skills, he turned an ordinary rural school into a successful educational institution that graduated highly educated children. He did a lot to ensure that the school was in no way inferior to city educational organizations,” noted the rector of the university, Yekin Sadykov.
Engilika Zhumataeva, the director of the Scientific and Practical Center for Ethnopedagogy and Innovative Educational Technologies named after A. Zh. Aimautov made a report at the conference. She spoke about what conditions are needed to improve the image of schools.
Deputy Director for Methodological and Personnel Work of the Innovative Center for Education Development of the Education Department of the Pavlodar Region, Aitzhamal Kozhakhmetova, said that the regional project “City - Village” is now actively developing, which is aimed at the interaction of specialized schools in the city and rural schools. This project supports the Olympiad movement. There are already first results - there are more prizes among students from rural schools.
Also, the interaction between the university and the rural school was noted at the conference as a factor of the effectiveness of education. Here they discussed rise of the level of the personnel reserve, features of professional development of teachers, and more. It should be noted that the university actively interacts with rural schools - this is an on-site admissions committee, scientific practices and research work.
