The international scientific and practical conference “XV Toraighyrov Readings”, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the poet Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov, was held at Toraighyrov University

The participants of the dialogue platform were welcomed by ToU Rector Yerkin Sadykov.  He recalled that the university has been holding Toraighyrov readings for 20 years, and all this time, the conference has always brought together the best scientists and researchers.

 - It is an honor for us to hold international scientific conferences in honor of the great son of the Kazakh land, whose name our university bears.  It's nice to see that our traditional meeting always brings together hundreds of old and new friends.  The geography of the conference is also expanding.  This means that the university’s initiative finds a real response from people.  I wish my colleagues fruitful work,” noted Yerkin Sadykov.

 The guest of honor at the readings was film director, screenwriter and producer Slambek Tauekel.  He made a report on the topic “Shaken Aimanov and Kazakh cinema”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Sh. Aimanov.

 At the plenary session of the conference, reports were also presented by famous scientists from Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, India, Germany and young researchers and schoolchildren.

 At the breakout sessions, current problems of various branches of modern science were considered in the following areas: natural sciences;  humanities and social sciences;  economics and law;  engineering;  agricultural sciences;  energetics;  physical, mathematical and computer sciences.  This is about 300 articles.

 Based on the results of the breakout sessions, the winners were awarded diplomas.
