A leadership lecture was held at Toraighyrov University from the head of M. Yesbulatov Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Major General of Police Aidar Saitbekov.

ToU students listened to a lecture on the topic “Legal education and crime prevention in the context of digitalization,” where issues of cyber hygiene were raised, which is a complex of knowledge that reduces the risks of being on the Internet. The speaker spoke about cybersecurity threats: the development of digital technologies, non-cash transactions, nomophobia and the vulnerability of personal data.

- The reality is such that we simply must be able to differentiate the validity of the information we receive via the Internet. Unfortunately, in the age of information technology, various misinformation and provocations cannot be ruled out, especially among young audience. Therefore, Toraighyrov University supports a course on so-called cyber hygiene,” noted the rector of the university, Yerkin Sadykov.
