The premiere of a mono-opera film by the famous Kazakhstan vocalist Shakhimardan Abilov took place at Toraighyrov University.  The Honored Artist of the Republic dedicated his “musical reflections” to Mukhtar Auezov’s novel “The Path of Abai”.

- Today, we have gathered to once again show respect to the work of our famous fellow countryman Shakhimardan Abilov.  His production allowed us to take a fresh look at this work and, in general, at the life path of Abai Kunanbayev, and to rethink the work of the great philosopher.  And today, Shakhimardan aga presents a video film of his outstanding work.  We, as long-time friends and admirers of Shakhimardan aga’s work, are happy about this!  - noted the rector of the university  Yerkin Sadykov.

 Recently, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev turned to Abai’s concept “Tolyk Adam”, which emphasizes that a person’s mind, heart and will make a mature personality from person, and that cultural development plays an important role in the formation of personality.  Abai’s principles and ideas are promoted by the  Honored Artist of the country Shakhimardan Abilov.  He always thinks about young people and strives to enrich them spiritually, which deserves great respect.  He wants to share the beauty and light with other people, and this is where the genius of the elder is manifested.

 “Today, few people read Abai and do not go into his philosophy, although Abai is a planet-scale personality”, says the opera singer.  - We gathered to play music and think.  But our main large-scale goal, as Abai himself said, is to educate young people and help them.

 With his work, Shakhimardan Abilov once again shows the versatility and greatness of Abai’s personality, who promoted the ideas of cultural development and spoke about the high value of education and spiritual growth.  These ideas are supported at the level of the country's leadership.
