Toraighyrov University hosted an international scientific-practical conference "XIV Toraigyrov readings".

The participants of the dialogue platform were greeted by the rector of ToU Yerkin Sadykov.  He recalled that the university has been holding Toraighyrov readings for 20 years now, and all this time the conference has invariably gathered the best scientists and researchers.

 - Toraighyrov is a real symbol of the desire for knowledge and self-improvement.  All past conferences at Toraighyrov University have opened a lot of new names for us, both among students and among young scientists.  That is why I can say with confidence that our ancestor has a lot of bright and talented followers among today's generation, - said Yerkin Sadykov.

 This year, scientists from Russia, Uzbekistan, Latvia, India and Nigeria became participants in the readings.  At the plenary session of the conference, reports were presented by well-known scientists of Kazakhstan, as well as young, novice researchers and schoolchildren.

The General Director of the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Kabyl Zhambakin was the guest of honor of the Toraighyrov Readings.  He admitted that he was surprised by the high level of educational process and scientific activity in ToU.  As part of the conference, Kabyl Zhambakin visited the Pavlodar school-lyceum No. 8, where he gave a lecture for children.

 Traditionally, the scientific and practical conference at the university ended with a concert organized by the student philharmonic society of Toraighyrov University.
