The republican marathon "Book-Reading Nation" aimed at promoting reading, increasing the reading culture and forming a permanent habit of independent reading has begun.

The marathon is being carried out in order to implement the Decree of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev dated May 16, 2026 "On measures to develop the culture of reading books and create a reading nation".

All students must register on the official platform: reading-nation.kz

The registration period is September 15, 2026 inclusive.

Detailed information about the terms of participation, the prize pool and the list of recommended literature is posted on the project's official platform.

Active participation of students contributes to increasing the rating indicators of Toraygyrov University and Pavlodar region. We invite you to register on time and participate in the marathon!

According to the Department of Information and Public Development of Pavlodar Region, the “New Vision Team” Public Foundation is holding the traditional regional “Täuelsizdik Urpaktary” Award Competition.

Young citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 14 to 35 residing in Pavlodar Region are invited to participate in the competition. The award in the amount of 500,000 tenge is presented to young people who have achieved significant results in various fields and contributed to the development of the region and society.

Participants will be evaluated in the following categories:

• Education
• Sports
• Culture
• Public Service
• Journalism
• Production Worker
• Volunteering
• Digitalization and Technology
• For Bravery
• Medicine

Two winners will be selected in each category.

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit:

• an application form;
• a copy of an identity card or passport;
• an autobiography;
• a reference letter;
• documents confirming achievements over the past three years, including diplomas, certificates, awards, and other supporting materials.

Each participant may be nominated in only one category.

The deadline for submitting documents is September 30, 2026.

Documents are accepted at 38 Lomov Street, Office 104, Pavlodar, Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The lunch break is from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
