Curriculum Support and Development

There are all necessary information resources to support teaching and learning: study guides, instructional guidelines, teaching materials for disciplines, handouts and manuals for students' independent work. Academic staff members have published 6 study guides, 1 special course, 2 courses of lectures, 1 monograph and 1 research work for the programs in 5В011800 Russian Language and Literature, 5В020500 Philology (Russian), and 6М020500 (Russian).

The Department's staff use the most up-to-date teaching methods and tools, such as programmed, problematic, communicative teaching methods, ICT (distance learning technologies, media communications, Internet technologies), modular training technology, the technology of integrated teaching linguistic and literary disciplines in line with modern scientific achievements of philology in our country and abroad.

Over the last 4 years, students of the Department have visited some of the unique places in terms of the ethnic culture in East Kazakhstan.

Members of the Department carry out various activities at the branches of the Department in Secondary School No. 42 named after M. Auezov in Pavlodar and Zhelezinka Secondary School No. 2 in Zhelezinka area of Pavlodar region.
