Academics of the Department perform independent research projects within national competitions and their master's thesis and dissertations.

Research work is included in individual plans of all academic staff members.

The effectiveness of the implementation of research work is evidenced by successful defense of doctoral and candidate's dissertations, master's theses, publication of study guides, reports at regional and international conferences of different levels, publication of articles in scientific journals both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

The results of research work carried out by academic staff of the Department are implemented at companies of the energy sector and industrial plants of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

Members of the Department take an active part in intra-university and national conferences, exhibitions and competitions.

Total number of works published: 600, including 20 manuals, study guides and monographs, 80 author's certificates, 12 patents, 2 silver medals at Exhibition of National Economy Achievements.

Students’ Research Work

Students of the Department are actively involved in research activities and annually participate in intra-university and national conferences, exhibitions and competitions, publish research articles in conference proceedings. Students of the Department are regular prize-winners at national academic competitions in special subjects.
