Description of the programs:

Development and design of new chemical technology for the production of organic and inorganic substances, operation of production lines of the inorganic synthesis and oil processing companies, ensuring labor protection measures, and technical documentation maintenance.

Our goal is to educate highly-qualified specialists ready for working at:

- the companies of the chemical, metallurgical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries;

- production laboratories of the analytical, environmental, customs, sanitary and epidemiological, and certification services;

- research institutions (institutes and laboratories) of the chemical, environmental, metallurgical, pharmaceutical areas as engineers, heads of departments and laboratories;

- secondary school, colleges, lyceums, and gymnasiums as chemistry teachers.

Qualification

After successful completion of these programs, the graduates are awarded the qualification of a BACHELOR OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY.

Bachelor of Chemical Technology can perform the following activities:

- organizational and technological;

- research;

- production and management.

Graduates can continue their education by entering master's and doctoral degree studies.

The educational program provides for a practical training at large industrial enterprises of our region. Students also study the basic technologies of producing the products manufactured at these enterprises as special disciplines.

Students of the 5В072100 Chemical Technology of Organic Substances program have industrial practice at the technological shops of NefteKhim LTD, LLP, Casting JSC; students of the 5В072000 Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances work at the technological shops of Aluminiy Kazakhstana JSC, Caustic JSC, Casting JSC, Aksu Ferroalloy Plant JSC.

These companies host graduation practices of students and allow them gain practical skills of operational and organizational activities.

Having successfully finished the program in 050606 Chemistry, the graduates get the opportunity for employment in many sectors of the economy, industrial laboratories, scientific - research and educational institutions, and special institutions (as consulting chemists).
