Special Office of agrotechnologies named after academician Suleimenov Mehlis Kasymovich A1 – 209

Mehlis Kasymovich Suleimenov was born in 1939 in Karaganda, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Laureate of the Presidential Prize of Peace and Spiritual Harmony of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In 1960 he graduated from the Kazakh State Agricultural Institute. In 1960 he was a researcher at Aktobe agricultural experimental station.

From 1960 to 1962 he studied at the postgraduate school, and then worked as a senior researcher (1965), head of the laboratory of agrotechnics of field crops (1966-1980), head of the department of agriculture (1980-1982), deputy director for scientific work (1982-1985) at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Grain Farming (VNIIZKh), director of VNIIZKh, and then Kazakh Research Institute of Grain Farming named after A. I. Barayev (A. I. Barayev). A. I. Baraev (1985-1994).

From 1994 to 1995 Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of Kazakhstan of XIII convocation.

From 1995 to 1996 Vice-President of the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

From 1997 to 2007 worked in Tashkent as Deputy Regional Coordinator of ICARDA International Center for Agricultural Research in Arid Regions for Central Asia and Transcaucasia, and then as a consultant of CIMMYT International Center for Wheat and Maize Improvement.

1973 - by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, 1975 - Honorary Citizen of the State of Nebraska (USA), 1976 - by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, 1980 - by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples, 1992 - Laureate of the Presidential Award of Peace and Spiritual Harmony of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1 from the hands of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Akorda, 1998 - Awarded the first state medal of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Astana", 2009 - by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded the Order of "Parasat" For outstanding services in the agrarian science of Kazakhstan, Awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR, Awarded a letter of thanks and a badge of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
