Educational and methodical work

In the 2025-2026 academic year, the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies trained specialists in 11 full-time educational programs, including 5 bachelor's degree programs, including the innovative educational program "Chemical Technology of Natural Energy Resources, Petrochemical Products and Polymers", 4 master's degree programs and 2 doctoral programs.

For 2025-2026, the department has a student body of 250 people, including 228 undergraduate and 22 graduate students.

The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies has over 140 disciplines, in which teachers have developed an educational and methodological complex of the discipline, including working curricula, syllabuses, methodological developments and recommendations on types of activities.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, the teachers of the department implemented a plan for conducting open lessons and mutual visits of classes. In the course of the work, the following events were organized and conducted:

- open lessons – 5 in the first semester, mutual visits of classes – 5 in the first semester.

Teachers and members of the commissions attended lectures, practical and laboratory classes. There is a fairly good methodological level, interactive work in the classroom. Teachers of the department regularly master advanced training courses and apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their work.

Special attention was paid to young teachers and aspiring practical teachers. During the academic year, the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies employed practical teachers Beisov R. A. (shift supervisor of Primary Oil Refining Production at Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP), Akhmetkalieva R. A. (supervisor of the Oil, Gas and Chemistry Department at the Foreign Enterprise SZHS Kazakhstan LTD LLP) and Chigina M.A. (structural engineer of the 3rd category of EON Energy LLP).

These teachers worked in the disciplines of microqualification Innovative educational program 6B07115-Chemical technology of natural energy carriers, petrochemical products and polymers "Organization of laboratory and production activities", "Technique of performing physico-chemical analyses and rules of maintenance of laboratory equipment" (Akhmetkalieva R. A.) and specialized disciplines "Technology of destructive oil refining processes", "Process technology primary oil refining" OP 6B07108-Chemical technology of organic substances (Beisov R. A.).

Throughout the school year, the results of all class visits were discussed after it was held, and the relevant documentation was drawn up.

The electronic journal on the credit system of students' academic achievements is regularly filled out at the faculty department. Monthly, at the department meetings, information from teachers about attendance and academic performance of students is heard, recorded in the minutes of the department meetings.
