Curriculum support and development

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology trained specialists in 11 full-time educational programs, including 5 bachelor's degree programs, including the innovative educational program "Chemical Technology of Natural Energy Sources, Petrochemical Products and Polymers", 4 master's degree programs and 2 doctoral degree programs.
For the 2024-2025 year, the department had 202 students, including 177 bachelor's students and 25 master's students.
The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology has over 140 disciplines, for which teachers have developed an educational and methodological complex of the discipline, including working curricula, syllabi, methodological developments and recommendations for types of activities.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, the department's teachers fulfilled the plan for holding open lessons and mutual visits to classes. During the work, the following events were organized and held:

During the academic year, the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology employed the following teachers-practitioners: Beisov R.A. (shift supervisor of the Primary Oil Refining Production Department of Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP), Akhmetkalieva R.A. (supervisor of the Oil, Gas and Chemistry Department of the Foreign Enterprise SGS Kazakhstan LTD LLP) and Chigina M.A. (3rd category design engineer of EON Energo LLP). The specified teachers worked on the micro-qualification disciplines Innovative educational program 6B07115-Chemical technology of natural energy sources, petrochemical products and polymers "Organization of laboratory and production activities", "Technique for performing physicochemical analyzes and rules for servicing laboratory equipment" (Akhmetkalieva R.A.) and the specialized disciplines "Technology of destructive processes of oil refining", "Technology of primary oil refining processes" OP 6B07108-Chemical technology of organic substances (Beisov R.A.).
Outside the plan in the first semester, as part of the faculty's participation in the Mentoring in ToU Project, a lot of work was done with the young teacher Nurmakanov T.A. (mentor - professor of the department Nesmeyanova R.M.). On 12/12/2024, an open practical lesson on the topic "Carboxylic Acids" was held for students majoring in 6B05302-Chemistry.
Throughout the academic year, the results of all class visits were discussed after the lesson, and the relevant documentation was prepared.
