The Department's resources and facilities meet modern requirements and include equipped classrooms, a library with books delivery desk and reading rooms, computer classrooms and multimedia library.

During their studies, students have practice in the following areas: archaeological, archival and museum, ethnographic, and pedagogical. Students prepare for the practice at A. Margulan Center of Archaeological Research (Director: V.K. Merts).
